From providing first-ever sexual health appointments for teens, to family planning and contraception visits, to routine preventative annual exams including regular pap smears and breast screenings, to guidance through perimenopause/menopause — our attentive and compassionate midwives and nurse practitioners are here to support you through every one of life’s transitions.

Problem Visits, Lab Testing & More

We’ve got you covered for prevention as well as acute needs, such as addressing common issues including vaginal, bladder, or breast infections. We also offer STI screening, hormonal lab testing, pregnancy confirmation, in-house pelvic ultrasounds, and more.

Individualized & Inclusive

Our visits are time-intensive, allowing our providers to truly individualize your care plan. Our facility is warm and home-like, with appointment rooms a far cry from the traditional sterile hospital environment most of us have grown accustomed to. We welcome all individuals and are committed to being a safe space for all.

What To Expect at Your Visit

Annual exams are 60 minutes. You will complete a detailed health history prior to your visit and we will spend the first part of your appointment reviewing this history in detail, learning about you and what concerns you are hoping to address, and discussing screenings and testing you may be due for or desire to be completed. We will perform a physical exam and will collect labs as appropriate. We will make a plan with you for follow up.
Problem visits will vary in length according to the issue being addressed. We will collect and send appropriate labs or screenings as appropriate to diagnose and address your concerns. If indicated, our providers will prescribe medication or recommend natural or herbal remedies.
Telehealth visits are available, though they may not be appropriate for every case.

“Simba” Eun-Hye Shim, LAc

Acupuncturist

Simba has a Master of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, CO. Born and raised in Seoul, Korea, she studied Chinese classics, language, astrology and Korean traditional medicine back in Korea before formal training in acupuncture and Traditional East Asian Medicine in the US. She joined our practice after she had an empowering and beautiful birth at the Birth Center of Boulder and has always felt strongly connected to the community. With a deep aspiration to help women throughout their lifespan, she specializes in pregnancy, birth, gynecology, fertility (all genders) and orthopedic conditions including chronic pain (all genders). After extensive study of various acupuncture traditions, Simba mainly practices Korean Saam 5 element acupuncture and the Master Tung system along with TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) acupuncture for the best clinical result.
